Education First Athletics Second Coalition (EDFIRST), a 501c3 organization, retains the right to dismiss from the program and/or refuse service to ANY participant or volunteer who displays unethical behavior or action toward the organization including its participants, fans and sponsors, per the judgment of David Wallace (EDFIRST Founder) and/or the majority vote of the EDFIRST’s board.

Our community needs your help keeping our youth safe, active, and alive. When we keep our youth involved in positive activities and programs we create safe communities for them to live in!

Your donation to EdFirst will help us continue to provide quality educational, health, and fitness programs to at-risk urban area youth.

Volunteer Opportunities
In order to provide a safe environment for our youth it is necessary for all volunteers to complete a criminal background check

To provide strong leadership for EdFirst and set a sound and accurate course for its future. 


Marketing
We are in need of an organization or individual willing to assist with the marketing and advertising of all our programs


Educational Mentors & Tutors
Assist children that need educational assistance in the areas of English and Math for grades 1 through 12


Fitness & Athletic Coaches
Assist with teaching proper exercise & athletic techniques in a fun environment


Event Support Volunteer Positions
Oversee concession stand by assisting in running snack area serving youth and game spectators

Providing services for one youth costs an average of $600.
